My dream Tomorrowland

My dream is to go one day to Tomorrowland.

It's a big music festival were 250 thousand people go. The best DJ of all over the world go there. It's like another planet. It is a 3 day festival, from 9 a.m. in the morning to 12 p.m at night, wonderful!

If I go I would sleep there in the Dreamville,it is a vobrant city that wecomes 35 thousand festival visitors after an exuberant day at Tomorrowland. Apart from everything you could expect from a decent festival camping, DreamVille has got some unique features. They have a marketplace with multiple shops, ranging from a tera house to a fresh bakery, several community centers, wonderful activations and even their very own warming up party called "The Gathering"

The problem is that only 1 of every 8 persons that want to go get a ticket... So much people!

It would be a really nice expirience and a beatiful party! I hope I can go there soon with my friends and enjoy it!!!!:)

Thousands of Protesters in Ukraine Demand Leader’s Resignation

Kiev, Ukraine. More than 100,000 people took to the streets of Kiev on Sunday, and thousands more rallied in other cities across Ukraine, to demand the resignation of President Viktor F. Yanukovich, the largest outpouring of fury so far over his refusal to sign far-reaching political and trade accords with the European Union.

Speakers at the rally in Kiev said that protests, now in their 11th day, would continue until Mr. Yanukovich was toppled and new elections were called.

Comment; Well, the demonstrations are becouse it are two different politic ideas the opposition (demostraitors) tending more to the democratic part (EU) to have more freedom ans the other part, the goverment, is more like Russia (dictatorship) and more communistic. Russia threatens Ukraine if they're politic direction is to far to the EU that they don't give them any more gas.

I think it is a good way to make demonstration if they are peacful without violence.

Thai Protests Enter Volatile New Phase After Fatal Shootings

Bangkok, Thailand’s week of antigovernment demonstrations entered a dangerous and volatile phase on Sunday after shootings involving rival political camps left at least four people dead and more than 50 wounded.

Many areas of Bangkok, the sprawling metropolis that is a major hub of commerce and travel in Southeast Asia, remained unaffected by the demonstrations. But the shootings and the increasingly provocative moves by protesters spread fears that unrest could move beyond the pockets of the capital where protests, and violence have raged.

Comment; We don't need violence to show what we think about different things. In this case you can make antigoverment demonstrations but peacful not with violence. Shooting are not a solution to politic problems, needer kill people. We can put the example of Catalonia they target to reach but they do it on a peacful way. My conclusion about this is that we have much means to reach our target but not the violence

Tennis

I'm going to write about my hobby.

My hobby is play tennis. I began playing tennis when I was eight years old. I like this sport pretty much because it's a individual sport so if I make a failure I am angry on my own, and in a team I would be angry on other people if they make a fault. I only have the responsability for myself.

I have played much tournaments in this years, the further tournament that I have played was in Valladolid when I was 14 years old. 

I had a injury in 2011 on my shoulder, I had to stop playing tennis one year, that was really hard.

Currently I play in Figueres and this sports helps me to vent myself after school and stress with the homework. But is is also difficuld to play tennis and do 2nd of batxillerat because I go training 2 hours 3 times a week and on the weekends I play matches.

Short on Space, Taiwan Embraces a Boom in Recycling

At the clean and tidy construction site, building materials are stacked neatly and even workers’ cigarette butts are carefully collected. The surroundings are designed to evoke a Roman villa, with lagoon, garden and canopies. The energy-saving shade tiles are made out of old CDs, DVDs and computer motherboards.

Comment; It's a good idea to have a clean country. I think it's nice too see how de countries develop new ideas to have a clean country. Overcoat if it's a country with much industrial activity, like this the people from there can live helthier. Do so big infraestructures are important to develop all the country and to have more employed people, so it must help everybodyy!!!

4 Dead in Metro-North Train Derailment in the Bronx(NY)

At least four people were killed after a Metro-North Railroad train derailed Sunday morning in the Bronx along the Hudson River. A total of 67 people were injured, 11 critically. The derailment occurred when several cars of a train headed south from Poughkeepsie, N.Y., left the tracks about 7:20 a.m. near the Spuyten Duyvil station under the Henry Hudson Bridge on the Hudson Line. They are not sure what caused the derailment.

Comment; Well, it has impacted me very much, in the last few month there was more than one train derailment. Here in spain one that was really sad because much people died. I don't know how tis can happen with the high tecnology that we have got, here in Spain the fault was from the driver, I hope this time not, because the driver, if he survived has to live with the awarness that he has killed much people.

How much do social networks influence our lives?

The importance of social networks has improved very much in the last 10 years. We need them to talk with friends, sometimes teachers, to share our expiriences and much more things, but does is affect our lives? That's what I'm going go talk about. 

In my opinion, we are addicted to the social networks. If you think about what you would do without facebook? Impossible!

It was a really good inventions but only for people who can control how much it's used. If you use it too much, like use at school in the classroom then it will have bad consequences. We need to use it but in moderation. 

I know people who can't be one hour without watchin on their phones i f someone has talked to him or if there is some recent news. 

Twitter, is another very famous social network, it has got 100 million users, one of them me. We use it also in class to share information from the topic we are talking about, really good application.

The number of long-term unemployed tripled in five years in Catalonia

The number of long-term unemployed in Catalonia has tripled in the last five years, widely affecting all groups, whether men or women, regardless of their educational level. 

So warns the Council of Economic and Social Work of Catalonia (CTESC), which analyzed data from the Labour Force Survey (LFS).

During this period, the number of unemployed persons has increased considerably, from just over 250,000 were unemployed in 2005 to 290,000 in 2008 and 870,000 at the beggining of 2013.

Comment; We are now in the worst period of the crisis, that is why I think the the number of unemployed persons has increased so fast. In my case, I leave Spain next year and I go to Germany because there currenly, is a much better economic situation than here in Catalonia and all Spain, and I have more future expectations.

Oral Presentation (self evaluation)

Body language(10%): I think it was the worst thing of my oral presentation because I read too much from the paper that I had got, that's why my body language was not so good. I could controle were got the nervoussness.
Presentation(10%): Our presentation I thing was nice, and it supported the information we had got, and with the correct videos according to the topic.
The strucrure(10%): We organized our ideas so that we fist made a general introduccion about the plastic surgey and the we entered in smalled details.
Context(35%): was good and with not too much information but with the needed information.

The pronunciation:(10%): in my case, is really good because I have a friend in the USA and I talk with him in English and that helped me to have a good pronunciation.
Language(25%): There were some specific word for this topic and they could have been difficult to understand. But in general we tried to use easy language so, all the people could understand..

I would give me a 8,5.

I have to improve my body language, but the other parts of the presentation were very good!:)

 Two brothers talk about if it's necessary to have a lipostructure on John one of the brothers. The other brothers name is James.

• James       -So are you sure that you want the liposuccion?
• John         -Oh brother, everyday we talk about the same thing.
• James       -Yes, because I care about you.
• John         -But you now that I want the lipo.
• James       -Have you also thougt about the riscs?
• John         -Yes but you see I'm fat and I don't want to be anymore.

Is humor necessary?

How would we live without laugh? Impossible. 

Firstly, we need laughter in our lifes because it's really important, without it we would be so stressed and sad. We can’t feel anxious, angry, or sad when we are laughing, so it helps us. It increases our happines. In my view we need humor to forget our sad or bad moments, and get our smile back. 

To have a nice life we need a good sense of humor, because you will become less stressed and you will not take all the things so seriously. We must begin the day with a positive attitude and smiling, that will help us. 

We must say that laugh is good for our health, relaxes the whole body, boosts the immune system, triggers the release of endorphins as well as it protects the heart.

Laugh is good for our social live, because when we laugh with someone a positive bond is created. Besides when we laugh with friends we feel really good and relaxed, therefore it's very important.

We need funny things in our lives like funny pets at home or funny TV series or films like Ridicule buisness on MTV, it makes us happy.

In conclusion, laugh is one of the importants things in our lifes. We need it, it would be impossible without it, we need to forget the criticisms and troubles. 

Goals

Hi, I'm going to talk about my long and short term goals, and witch challenges I have to overcome.


My short term goals are to succeed 2nd of batxillerat earning good grades. Also I wanna play tennis if I have got time and win some tournaments, I also need the tennis to de -stress. When I play tennis I don't think about school and similar things! The challenges that I have to overcome is that in 2nd of batxillerat I have to put my best effort and that is diffivolult because I'm a little bit lazy.



My long term goals are that I want to go back to Germany to make there a upper cicle as a merchand, that would be really good. The challenge that I have to overcome is that I have to leave Spain and go to Germany, new people new life style.. But it can be a good stage in my life.




My conclusion is that you always have to keep going and never let you down!!:)

Self evaluation

I thing my oral presentation was OK. But the guy who has done it with me has done it very bad.
I have to prepare a little bit more the presentation.
I like how I speak english, if I have to put me a mark I would put me a 8.

Hard 3rd trimester

This trimester I have to work hard because I have a lot of things to do.

FIrst, I have to study for Batxillerat and pass this year.WE have got a lot of exams and this is very hard, and I am not a really hard-working person, I am a little bit lazy. 

The second thing that I have to do is study for my driver's licence, because I'm gonna do it in summer in summer still being 17. But I have to study now because I only will be 2 weeks there to pass it.

The last thing is tennis, my hobbie. Normally I go training 4 time a week in Figueres, this are 8 houres a week, much time..

Bad boys 2 (movie)

The film talks about two fiends, they are cops in Miami. They investigate against a drugs mafia. First they fight against some guys from the KKK. They talked to them and they said how to arrive to the general of the mafia. Then the two cops swent to the house of the general, there they go into the house as a cleening service. But they ddiscovered them. Then the cops followed them but they lost them.
Then they find out thet they went to Cuba. The cops and some SWAT units went to Cuba. They found out the house, then they went to the house. They had a big fight. The mafia guy tried to leave but he couldn't.

Description

Arnau is 17 years old. his phisical characteristics are, that he has got black short hair. He is 1'75 meters high. He is not very strong and not too thin, he is normal.
His character is, shy when you don't know him. When you know him and have more confidence he is talkative, well, very talkative and funny. He is big-headed. He is very lazy, that why he reapeated 1st of batxillerat, he doesn't do anything, but he is very simpathetic.
My opinion about him is that he is a good friend and you can trust him, that's very important for me.

Dear sister,

Thanks for you letter. I am happy to hear that you're well. You asked me which places I recomend you here in this area by Girona. Because I will not be here at my house in Vilacolum this summer. 

In this region I can definetly recomend you to go to see the beach at the sea. It's very nice there. Then, I recomend you to go to Barcelona there you can visit a lot of things. You can go to Barcelona by train or car. More or less 2 houres. There you can visit the "Sagrada Família" the "camp Nou" soccer  stadium from FC Barcelona.

Vilacolum, is a small village where you can spend much time outdoor. You can go walking, you can ride a bike, but don't forget you badingsuit!

At Eastern I went to Germany To Kassel the city where I was born, every year I go there 2 or 3 times, because my grandparents live there. On the flight from here to Germany I had the hardest headache in my life, when I arrived at my house in Germany, I went inmediatly to the doctor, he said that i had to go to the hospital. I was 4 days at the hospital. They made me a scan to see what was wrong in my head. It was sinusitis. They wanted to opperate me but I must leave to school, because if they opperate me I must stay 3 weeks there, inpossible! That were my funny eastern vacation...!

Description of my dogs.

The black (estel) one is 10 years old. She is a labrador. She like much to eat and not do much sport. But now with the age she can not run so good like before.
The other one is 1 year old, and I found her on the street in Vilacolum when she was only one week old. This dog is called Kira. She likes tto run all day! TThe vet does not know what race it is.

Fairy tail. The crazy pig

One day, the farmer wanted to kill a pig, to eat it. He get th epig. When he got the pig, he brought it to the farm. Then he took the knife. At thet moment, the pig began turning crazy. The pig run away. The pig went into the lake next to the farm. He swam across the small lake. He got out. The pig arrived at the city. In the city he went into a supermarket because she was hungry. She ate something and run away. The farmer was searching where he was. The farmen saw her and get her. Then he took her to the farm. He thought it would be better not kill her because if he tried to kill her she would turn crazy again, So she died happy!

Next summer.

Well, this summer ! month I will be in Germany to make my driver's licence there, becaure in Germany you can make it with 17 years, not like with 18 years. And what I also want to do in this month in Germany is look wich dual upper cicle I can do there after finishing  my Batxillerat here in Spain. The other part of the summer I will be here in Spain with friends and also playing tennis tourbnament in Catalonia.

My injury

I have got tendinitis in my shoulder. I went to the physiotherapist and I had to stop playing tennis one year. After 11 month they made me some infiltratind in my shoulder. When I completed tho year without playing I started again, that was the last August. Now 7 month after the injury, it cames back, now I have to be 1 month without playing. I hope it will get good!

TOMORROWLAND

Tomorrowland is a very big music festival in Belgium. They play house and techno music. I will go there with a friend in 2014 because we gonna be 18 years old so we can get in. We will go there by plane. The entrance this year costs 200 euros, let's see what it costs next year.
This year the tickets were sold out after 24 hours, incredible. It has got space for 120.000 persons!
I love this festival, it's crazy.

New year resolution

In 2013 I want to change a little bit. I want to travel a lot, next weekend I go to Mallorca with  my family. I’m also going to do my make my driving licence in Germany, because there I can do it with 17 years.

I want to be better at school this year, and improve my marks. I hope it will be a good year for me. But I want to have fun also, go party, do my sport, etc.

Chritmas

On the christmas vacation I was in Switzerland to go skiing with my family, I love going to ski. Cristams was very good. Then on the 30th of deceber I left to Germany to celebrate the new year with my friends. I had a very good time there. We went to the house from a friend on the day of new year, because his parents weren't there so we could make a big party. The rest of the week I stayed at my with my grandparents. We have done much thing together, like going to a museum or oing shopping, it was very funny. Then at the 7th I went back to Spain because on the 8th the school began.
